Weekly Online Trainer-Led Programme (9 Weeks)

The Launex™ LDCS Pathway for Professional Carers is a structured, specialist dementia training programme designed for organisations and teams delivering care in regulated settings.

This programme moves beyond task-based care and equips professional carers with the depth of understanding required to interpret behaviour, respond safely to distress, and communicate with clarity and confidence across all stages of dementia.

Training is grounded in the Launex™ Dementia Brain Map™ framework and reflects modern expectations set by families, commissioners, and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) for emotionally intelligent, person-led dementia care.

Programme Structure

• Delivery format: Live, online, trainer-led

• Group size: Up to 8 carers per cohort

Each session is delivered live by a Launex™ Trainer and supports reflective discussion, case-based learning, and real-world application within professional care environments.

Assessment & Professional Competency

Carers complete short, reflective applications following each module to demonstrate genuine understanding and practical competence.

There are no exams, no trick questions, and no pressure-based testing.
Assessment confirms the carer’s ability to translate learning into safe, compassionate, person-led practice.

Certification

Upon successful completion of all modules and assessments, participants receive the Launex™ Certified Dementia Carer Specialist certificate.

Each certificate:

• Is individually issued by LAUNEX LTD
• Includes a unique verification number
• Confirms specialist dementia-care competency aligned with modern care standards
