Dementia Care & Understanding: A Family Pathway – Pack 2 – Live
This live training programme forms the core educational component of the Launex Family Pathway. It is designed for family members and loved ones who want a clear, structured, and brain-based understanding of dementia and how neurological change directly affects everyday life.
Pack 2 focuses on how dementia changes the brain, and how those changes manifest in behaviour, communication, emotional responses, and functional ability. The training provides formal explanation and applied understanding, enabling families to move beyond surface observations and recognise underlying neurological drivers.
Delivered through live training, this programme is built around the Launex Dementia Brain Map™, which provides a structured framework for understanding cognitive change and its real-world impact. Content is taught, explained, and contextualised to support accurate understanding and informed decision-making.
This programme assumes a basic awareness of dementia and its impact on daily life, but does not require prior completion of Pack 1. Participants may enter based on lived experience, previous learning, or readiness for deeper, structured education.
Completion of Pack 2 alone does not confer certification. A Launex Certificate of Completion is issued only upon successful completion of all required pathway assessments.
