Dementia Care & Understanding: A Family Pathway – Pack 1 – Self-Study + Live
This programme provides structured, self-study dementia education covering Phases 1–4 of the Launex Family Pathway, supporting families to build a clear and accurate understanding of dementia, its early changes, and its impact on daily life.
Pack 1 focuses on foundational understanding, including what dementia is, how it affects thinking and behaviour, how early changes present, and how families can begin to make sense of what they are seeing and experiencing.
Learning is delivered primarily through independent self-study, allowing families to progress at their own pace through clearly structured educational content.
As part of this pack, learners may choose one live training session from Phases 1–4, providing the opportunity for expert-led explanation and clarification of a selected phase where additional depth or confirmation of understanding is helpful.
This programme does not include live teaching for all phases. The live component is limited to one selected phase only.
