Launex™ is a UK-based dementia education and coaching service dedicated to helping families and professionals navigate the challenges of dementia with clarity, understanding, confidence and compassion. Our work is grounded in person-led values and driven by the belief that a better understanding of dementia leads to better care, stronger relationships and improved quality of life for everyone involved.

We believe dementia care deserves more than compassion — it deserves specialisation. We are redefining dementia care as a recognised discipline, supported by structured learning that spans from families to professionals. Our approach begins with families; empowering them to understand and respond to dementia with clarity and confidence — and continues through professional pathways that develop carers, agencies, and healthcare teams.
Every Launex™ course, from family-focused learning to advanced training, contributes to this evolution. Through this progression, we are shaping a new professional identity: the Launex Dementia Carer Specialist™— an individual who combines clinical understanding, emotional intelligence, and person-centred values to deliver consistent, dignified, and informed care across every setting. All training and fundamentals for the LDCS will be based on international standards and frameworks such as WHO, NHS, NICE, CQC, ICF and ICF.
